dc.description.abstract With the growth of online learning in the Philippines, adolescents spend more time on social media. Facebook, the country's most common social media platform, is even being used to communicate school matters, though its usage is associated with various online privacy risks. Hence, this study determined the adolescents' online privacy risks and management perceptions and practices on Facebook using a quantitative research method and a cross-sectional survey. And the study results showed that adolescents perceived online privacy risks as risks, except for sharing private information. They are hesitant if they can manage their online privacy well and are unsure of their perceived ability and practices to maintain and coordinate their privacy boundaries on Facebook. Hence, the study's findings suggest that developing their digital and online literacy capacity, including online privacy risks, is necessary. School regulations on social media usage for academic purposes are also vital in reducing the vulnerability of the students.
