dc.description.abstract The Sustainable Development Goals were created with the dream to uphold, and empower each member of society. These goals are linked to specific human rights that aim to achieve a transformative society by placing everyone at the center of development - leaving no one behind. The children who are the most vulnerable members of the community and future leaders of the society deserve to be protected and respected with their rights as the future lies in their hands. This study identified the different Family Communication Patterns on the families of Intermediate Elementary Students in a School in Silang Cavite and analyzed the relationship between the different Family Communication Patterns with child rights practice. Through the research instruments used, quantitative results have revealed the prevailing Family Communication Patterns based on Conversation and Conformity orientation. Each type were ranked as Consensual being the most frequent type of Family Communication Pattern followed by Pluralistic, Protective, and Laissez-Faire. The Spearman-Rho Correlation test has shown a positive relationship between Conversation and child rights practice. Though Conformity has presented a weaker positive relationship, it still yields an increase in child rights practice as conformity level increases. This study has exposed the value of open communication in the practice of children's rights.
