Abstract
This dissertation entitled “Kris Aquino: Valorization of the Burlesque Social-Political Economy Advertisements of the Queen of All Media in the Philippines” vets into the drama of her major turning points in life vis a vis her commercials. Six of the commercials that were centered on women were content analyzed via a simple based semiotic approach through narrative and descriptive lenses. The dissertation lends credence to the multifarious act of creativity and opinion leader with transactional leadership in all the affairs of the vignette commercials. The study vetted the ineffable leadership acumen of the stat which remained to be one of the continuing mysterious of human experience most especially in the surrounding the queen to help shed out their perceptions on her life. The method reasons, explain a little further and lastly paraphrase with a bang. The findings could be a catalyst for social change most especially in the Marketing Communications field and Socio-Political Economy.
