Eagle Express Lines Inc. RFID Tracking System

Abstract

Logistics companies cater the logistics needs of the clients from point of origin to point of destination. The common logistic operation has a lot of hardcopy of negotiations and receipt that consumes time in managing.

The project Eagle Express Lines Inc. RFID Tracking System is a website application that interacts with RFID technology to track packages with RFID tags. It intends to affect the time managing and paper works of the logistics employees relating to the system’s capability to track or trace the deliveries that can minimize negotiations from port to port and to the clients.

The system used Agile Development Methodology, a time-boxed and rapid iterative approach with a flexible response to change. This was used to practically complement the system with its user’s needs.

The system was tested in an environment with adequate resources of hardware and operating system after the completion of the whole project.
