Abstract
Technology has played and made the work not only easier but more efficient and effective. As time passes by, many functions, regardless of operation and location, were converted into a more sophisticated use of information system and technology. However, even with the availability of resources, Central Mindanao University (CMU) Employee Evaluation process is still under manual execution. This has made numerous problems tailing the manual operation and an ineffective data handling of their records. The CMU Employee Evaluation Information System (CMU - EEIS) is a software solution for the collection, computation, analysis, and dissemination of employee evaluation results to the different offices and personnel in the university. The system was developed using Agile Model methodology that was implemented using a Web-based application deployed in a web hosting service, a Desktop-based application, and a Relational Database Management System to provide a repository of the data in the entire system. CMU - EEIS provides features in the automation of work in customer satisfaction process like option to access customer satisfaction survey form via QR code, automated customer satisfaction rating result production, employee recommendation report, and user logs which record users' footprint when using the system. The development of the information system also provides future developments easier with the use of code documentation and an exception recording log feature which provides detailed information every time the system encounters runtime and related errors. Project testing covers both development and system usability. Testing method also included the functional and the non-functional aspects of the information system. Though it may still have rooms for improvements, the conducted system testing resulted to a satisfactory evaluation. Respondents also identified the ease of use of the system as its main strength alongside with the learnability and that the system saves time in contrast to the current process. Lastly, the implementation of the system utilized the parallel method. Maintenance activities were also planned to continually improve the system with consideration to the users' need through the user experience feature.
