Duty Free Philippine-MISD (Management Information Services Division Test Management System)

Abstract

This project was conducted for the purpose of developing an information system that will improve the existing test management process of the Duty-Free Philippines Management Information Services Division (MISD).

The Quality Reviewers of MISD, particularly from its Management Services Department (MSD) had since managed their test process manually and found that amid adopting several strategies in improving the test process, problems in the documentation are evident. Hence, the proposal for a test management tool using a collaborative environment.

The project’s content management framework facilitated the rapid application development used by providing core functionality and extending them thru contributed modules. These allowed customizations of processes identified with modeling in order to implement appropriate functionalities that support the organization’s business process.

The project was assessed thru software testing and compliance review, and was found significant by the end-user to streamline test process and facilitate test management across multiple project teams.
