dc.description.abstract This study documents the sustainability mechanisms of Philippine Tropical Forest Conservation Foundation (PTFCF) projects, determine factors affecting project sustainability and develops indicators for project and ecosystem sustainability. Developed indicators consist of bio-physical sustainability indicators, socio-cultural sustainability indicators, economic sustainability indicators and political sustainability indicators. These indicators can be used to enhance the design of forest conservation projects, guide project implementation, contribute to improved governance of the forest ecosystem and promote biodiversity conservation, thereby ensuring ecosystems’ resiliency and sustainability.
