dc.description.abstract This study investigated the relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment among nurses in a tertiary hospital in Ilocos Norte. It aimed to describe the socio-demographic profile of nurses, determine the prevailing organizational culture and level of organizational commitment, and examine their relationships. A descriptive-correlational researhc design was utilized. Data were gathered from 279 nurses holding plantilla positions using purposive sampling. The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), based on the Competing Values Framework, assessed cultural dimensions such as dominant characteristics, leadership, employee management, organizational glue, strategic emphases, and success criteria. The Three-Component Organizational Commitment Questionnaire by Meyer  and Allen measured affective, continuance, and normative commitment. Statistical tools inlcuded frequency, percentage, weighted mean, Pearson correlation, Spearman's rank correlation, and point-biserial correlation.
