Abstract
The study entitled “Development of Online Faculty Profiling System for Lyceum of the Philippines University- Batangas” was developed as an online system that will help faculty members to easily update their professional records and produce critical documentation as well. The system is designed to record faculty accomplishments, including faculty personal information, work history, degrees earned, grants and awards and as well as the schedule within the semester.
The system also provides authorized university personnel with flexible and easy access to centrally stored information of faculty members for the purpose of faculty evaluation or accreditation. It is because the system has the capability of generating reports of a particular faculty member and information can be saved in PDF, Word or HTML formats.
The data is protected and secured since only authorized personnel can have access to the system and database. They are provided with usernames and password which they will use to access the systems.
The online system would lessen the time and effort of HRMD personnel in filing and retrieving information or profile of faculty members. This will also help the administration in saving resources and as well as space due to bulk of printed documents to be prepared during the accreditation process since database can now be used as part of the documentation.
