The Electrical Logbook System

Abstract

This paper will introduce the Electronic Logbook System, its features and the underlying technology that this system is made of. The first part will show that it can automate the manual patient recording by capturing the patient’s information regardless of admission venue, record the different diagnosis and laboratories, and how to generate the Monthly Mandatory Hospital Report (MMHR) to monitor the performance of Philhealth Accredited Health Care Providers (HCPs). The second part will show that the system is a web-based technology, show the relationship of each database tabled, and the technical requirements of the information system. The conclusion will describe the process on how to effectively and securely use the system when deployed in production environment.
