Abstract
STI-Ozamis attempts to improve its current system to easily handle the everyday transaction of the school. One of the major problems of the school is its grading system. Standard calculation of grades is provided in faculties manual but all the application that was used in the previous years was ineffective. The new project addresses the problem in automating the calculation of grades of the students. It is online and developed using PHP, CSS and HTML to help faculties to calculate grades easily and to help students to easily access their grades. The new project uses the waterfall model as its software development methodology. It divides the whole process of software development into separate phases these are the requirement analysis phase, system design phase, implementation phase, testing phase and maintenance phase. All the phases are cascaded by each other where progress is flowing downward like a waterfall. The users tested the system and were satisfied with the processes that it caters to. The users also give new suggestions on how to improve the system.
