Church Membership record at Northern Luzon Mission handled by the secretariat is not regularly updated because church clerks from local churches could not submit their Church Clerk Statistical Reports on time due to geographical reason. This result to inaccurate membership reports needed to be produced quarterly and annually.
The use of “Online Church Membership Information System” will automatically update the church membership record because all the memberships recorded by the church clerks are stored in centralized database which is automatically access by the secretariat. Church growth then is easily track because quarterly and annual reports are generated accurately.
This proposed system was developed following the Systems analysis design. It was guided specifically by the systems development life cycle of the Structured Analysis. Entity-relationship diagram served as its data model and data flow diagram as its process model. The front-end was coded mainly using PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor while MySQL for its back end.
Unit testing and integration testing was done to eliminate errors and to make sure that programs are working properly. An evaluation instrument was also given to the expected users while testing and evaluating the application.
