The system aimed to enhance the monitoring and record keeping of the Tudela Golden Lions club. The Tedula Golden Lions Club Online Monitoring and Record Keeping System was created in order to have an effective and efficient way to monitor and update members’ accountabilities; and to monitor the inflows and outflows of donations.
The Tedula Golden Lions Club is a civic organization under the Lions Clubs International which aims to serve and address the needs of the community. As an organization it is necessary to have funds, thus, the Tedula Golden Lions Club has to keep its track on the payment of dues of its member as well as to collect donations to finance the projects and activities of the club for the upliftment of the lives of the people it ought to serve.
Interviews and observation were used in the data collection to identify the system requirements. PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and HTML are the technologies used in the system’s design. The system development process followed was the rapid application development (RAD). RAD resembles a condensed version of the entire SDLC, with users included on stop of the way (Shelly Rosenhlatt, 2012 p113)
Based on the final testing, all the requirement needed by the user are met. All assessment collected are kept in case of future improvement.
The developer recommends that the manual records of the club should be consolidated to the developed system and the system should be introduce during the orientation of new members.
